Emilia Clarke is an English actress who shot to fame in the HBO show, Game of Thrones. She has played the character, Daenerys, on the hit show since it began eight years ago in 2011. As well as this starring role, Emilia has appeared in a number of other television shows, in films and on stage. With such an impressive career behind her already, the star has managed to build up a huge fortune.

She was born in London on 1 May 1987 and went on to study at the Drama Centre London. The actress kicked off her career with a guest role on the BBC programme, Doctors, and had a number of other small roles following this. As well as doing voiceover work for the cartoon, “Futurama”, Emilia turned her hand to stage acting and starred in Breakfast at Tiffany’s on Broadway.

In 2011, Emilia got the role in Game of Thrones which has seen her gain worldwide recognition. This will have greatly added to her massive wealth and it is reported she now gets around £750,000 for each episode. Emilia was recognised for this role as she was nominated for an Emmy, and in 2011 she won a EWwy Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama.
